Symptom

If you have more than one domain in your webspace, you cannot change the usage mode of the main domain from webspace to redirect. But you still want to set up frame forwarding for this domain.

Solution

If you only have a single domain in the webspace, you can simply click on "Hosting Settings" and select "Redirect" as the usage type, then "Frame Redirect". In other cases:

A frame redirect is nothing more than a web page that contains a frameset with only one page - the forwarding destination. So you can create an index.html page with e.g. this source code:

You are being forwarded …

<br>Your browser does not support frames. <br>

Instead of "", enter the URL, including http:// or https://, to which you want to forward, e.g. "https://my-destination.com". Save the source code as "index.html" as the only file in the document root (this is usually /httpdocs). If there is an index.php file, remove the index.php file, otherwise index.php might be the default homepage rather than index.html.
